Privacy Policy for Mobile Applications & Services

This Privacy Policy describes how MobiWire SAS ("we", "us", or "our") processes information in connection with our enterprise mobile applications, software development kits (SDKs), OEM-level configuration services (OEMConfig), and related utility software (collectively referred to as the "Applications").

1. Scope & Purpose

Our applications are designed primarily for enterprise device configuration, hardware integration, diagnostics, and management. They allow enterprise administrators and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM / MDM) solutions to configure, manage, and monitor compatible MobiWire hardware devices in enterprise environments.

2. Information Accessed & Processed

Depending on the specific features and the permissions granted by the system/administrator, the Applications may access and process the following categories of technical data locally on the device:

  • Hardware & Device Identifiers: Device model, serial number, IMEI, MAC address, firmware/build version, and operating system version (used strictly for hardware management, inventory verification, and compatibility checks).
  • System & Configuration Settings: Enterprise security policies, system parameters, and peripheral settings (e.g., integrated scanner, printer, NFC, or sensor controls).
  • Diagnostic & Operational Data: Technical logs, error codes, and operational status required for troubleshooting, maintenance, and system stability.

3. Purpose of Processing & Commitments

The information accessed by our Applications is processed strictly for the following purposes:

  • Executing OEM-level configuration policies sent by your organization’s EMM/MDM platform.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning, compatibility, and security of device hardware features.
  • Providing technical support, diagnostics, and performance optimization.

Our commitments :

  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade any device or personal data.
  • No Advertising / Profiling: We do not track users across apps or websites, and we do not use any accessed data for advertising or marketing purposes.
  • No End-User Personal Data: The Applications do not collect personal end-user content (such as personal messages, photos, contacts, audio recordings, or personal browsing history).

4. Data Transmission & Security

  • Local Execution: Configuration parameters and hardware commands are processed directly on the device.
  • EMM / MDM Architecture: Enterprise configurations and status feedback operate in accordance with standard Android Enterprise protocols. Data is exchanged between the device and your organization’s designated EMM/MDM server. MobiWire does not host or intercept your enterprise management data unless explicitly agreed upon under a specific enterprise agreement.
  • Security Measures: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard device data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

5. Permissions

The Applications may request privileged or system-level permissions (such as modifying system settings, managing hardware peripherals, or reading device state) strictly to carry out administrator-defined configurations. These permissions are never used for personal surveillance or non-essential data collection.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Applications are business-to-business (B2B) and enterprise tools. They are not intended for or directed at children under the age of 16.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Security reporting

Should you detect a potential security vulnerability in any MobiWire Mobile product or software, kindly report it via email:

When notifying us via email about a security vulnerability you’ve discovered, please ensure to include detailed technical information. We aim to confirm receipt of your report within 48 hours, though exceptions may arise during weekends or holidays.

To facilitate a swift and accurate analysis, we kindly request the following information:

  • Commercial name of the product
  • Custom built version of the affected product
  • Android security update version
  • Detailed description of the potential vulnerability, providing as much detail as possible
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) such as videos, images, APKs, sample code, etc.

To streamline our response procedures and minimize time spent deciphering the issue, we urge you to submit comprehensive reports. This includes a written description of the vulnerability, details on relevant source code snippets or binary analysis, and any supporting material, like proof-of-concept code, that aids in assessing the vulnerability promptly and effectively. Reports should present a compelling case for the security impact of the reported issue.

In return, we are committed to:

  • Promptly understanding and addressing the potential vulnerability
  • Making our best efforts to resolve security vulnerabilities and release patches to end-consumers within 90 days
